Lemon Crispy Potatoes with ConsorcioSerrano Ham, Lemon & Aioli
Paired with DO Cava de Guarda Superior Reserva
Crispy, salty, citrusy—and seriously addictive. The bubbles cut through the richness while the lemon lifts every bite. Perfect as an appetizer or side… or add a fried egg and call it brunch.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 medium yellow potatoes
- 12–14 slices ConsorcioSerrano ham
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lemon (zest & juice)
- Pinch of garlic powder (optional)
- Oregano or thyme
- Aioli (for serving)
Instructions
Cut potatoes into wedges, skin on. Fry over medium-low heat until tender (not browned) for a creamy texture. Drain and season with salt, pepper, garlic, herbs, lemon zest, and a touch of juice. Wrap each wedge with jamón, place on a tray, and roast at 400°F for 10–15 minutes until the ham gets crispy. Serve warm with aioli and finish with extra zest or fresh herbs.
