Propiedades del Cilantro

Cilantro

El cilantro es una especia muy antigua que se conoce desde la epoca de los egipcios pero para mí es la más común entre nosotros los latinos, sobretodo en la cocina mexicana.
 
  No sólo se conoce como cilantro, hay países que le llaman perejil mexicano o perejil chino por su similaridad en color y forma; aunque su sabor es mucho más intenso y es por eso que o lo amas o lo odias.
 
Una salsa de aguacate o guacamole, un caldo talpeño, unos tacos o hasta cualquier salsa o guiso no importa su nacionalidad, sin cilantro simplemente no es lo mismo….y que lo confirmen mis amigos colombianos, mexicanos, nicaraguenses, venezolanos, puertorriqueños, dominicanos, cubanos, etc.
 
El cilantro es muy usado en India y China por su reputación en el área medicinal.  Se dice que es poderoso controlando los niveles de azúcar, bajando el colesterol y ayudando con inflamaciones… imagínense; en Europa muchos lo conocen como la planta anti-diabetes.
