“Little Gems’’ are a kind of lettuce very similar to Romaine but super small. They’re more tasteful and have better texture.
They’re perfect for Caesar salad because they don’t need to be chopped which gives it a nice look and a great flavor! I must warn my friends in Miami: little gems are very hard to find here…if you do so, PLEASE let me know!!
