Hamburguesa con sabor a España - simple recipe - The Kitchen doesn't Bite - Doreen Colondres

Lo que debes tener: 

  • 3/4 libra carne de cerdo
  • 3/4 libra de carne de res
  • 4 panes de hamburguesas (prefiero un pan ligeramente dulce)
  • 1 chorizo casero español de los que vienen en su tinta, picadito bien pequeño (1.5oz o 1/4 taza)
  • 4 lascas de queso español mahón o manchego (el mahón derrite mejor)
  • 20 piñones (pine nutes)
  • Aceite de oliva
  • 1 cebolla grande roja para caramelizada (cortada en rodajas finas)
  • Setas frescas salteadas
  • Sal y pimienta a gusto
  • Mayonesa de pimenton (paprika) o alioli

Lo que debes hacer: 

  1. Mezcla las carnes con el chorizo, el pimentón y los piñones
  2. Porciona las hamburguesas y sazona con un poquito de sal y pimienta.
  3. Las cebollas las vas a cocinar en el grill o a la plancha en temperatura alta para que se caramelicen y si gustas le agregas un poco de aceite mientras cocinas.  Espera a que se tornen bien tiernas y bien dulces y deja al lado en lo que cocinas lo demás.
  4. En un sartén con un cucharada de aceite de oliva, cocina por 1-2 minutos el ajo y añade las setas picadas pequeñitas, agrega sal, pimienta y cocina por 1-2 minutos más en temperatura mediana… no las sobre cocines.
  5. Cocina la carne a fuego alto en la parrilla o en el sartén con un poco de aceite de oliva hasta que estén cocidas a tu gusto (yo la prefiero 3/4 pero a los niños sírvelas cocidas completamente).  Minutos antes, agrega el queso para que se derrita bien antes de servirla.
  6. Retira del calor una vez tengan el termino que quieras y empieza a montar cada hamburguesa en el pan con las cebollas y las setas.
  7. A esta hamburguesa le puedes agregar mayonesa con pimentón dulce (paprika) o el alioli de la hamburguesa de "chic"... con ambas queda perfecta o hasta solita.
